小米手机需要第二次“奇迹”

进入 2019,小米明显加快了调整的步伐。

刚刚过去的周末,《财经》
报道
小米开始实行职位层级制,正式“告别扁平化”。今天,小米集团再次进行了架构调整,雷军签发的《手机部与平台部组织调整及任命通知》显示,
小米把“参谋部”制度引入了手机部门,朱磊为参谋长,向林斌汇报。


此外,手机部还成立了显示触控部,核心器件部并入硬件研发部;原集团安全部拆分为安全合规部和安全管理部。





担任手机参谋部参谋长这一重要职位的是朱磊,此前她曾是小米网的销售总监,多次主导小米双十一的战术策略。
小米“参谋部”的制度始于
去年 9 月
,这也是小米上市以后第一次,也是创业以来最大的一次架构调整。

另外值得一提的是,此次调整中,手机部门再次成立了细分的技术部门,上一个给外界留下深刻印象的小米独立技术部门是相机团队。2018 年 5 月 14 日,小米 CEO 雷军发布内部邮件,宣布在手机部内成立单独的相机部,朱丹担任手机部新组建的相机部总经理。

从现在回过头去看,这次调整颇有成效,经过半年多的努力,小米相机表现取得了明显进步,虽然华为依然有着领先,但小米相机一改过去羸弱的表现,甚至成为了明显的长板(比如 Mix 3 宣称的“全球第三相机”),即将发布的小米 9 也是以相机为主打卖点。





这已经是小米上市以来,第四次进行人事和组织架构调整了。
上市以后,小米明显调整频繁,逐渐褪去了“创业公司”的影子,

第一次调整,是 2018 年 7 月 23 日,小米发内部信任命原手机部副总裁颜克胜为集团副总裁,兼任集团质量委员会主席,直接向雷军汇报,同时任命张健担任集团质量办主任,向颜克胜汇报。

第二次,是上文所提到的“参谋部和集团组织部”,通过这次调整,小米把一大批“80”后的中生代力量推到了前台。

此次调整虽然新设了“参谋部和集团组织部”,但依然是基于“扁平化”思路,各个部门的经理都是直接向雷军汇报。但如今的小米,是拥有 20000 名员工的超大型公司,创业公司范儿的扁平化显然已经不适合现在的小米了。


第三次调整
是去年 12 月 13 日,其中最重要的就是这一条“为了加强在中国市场投入,将销售与服务部改组为中国区,任命集团高级副总裁王川兼任中国区总裁,向CEO汇报”,
在当时,这被认为是小米将重新加注中国市场的信号。


今年以来,小米“性格”大变,雷军一改“憨厚工程师”的形象,在发布会上公开 diss 某竞争对手,新加入小米的卢伟冰,甚至专门跑到荣耀官微下留言“示威”,整个小米都充满了“战斗气息”。




小米有理由感到压力。


IDC 中国市场数据显示 ,小米在 2018 年四季度出货量同比降低了 34.9%,
比公开承认销量下跌的苹果还要触目惊心,在主要竞争对手“HOV”都或多或少有所增长的情况下,这就更是一个危险的信号了。




过去,“华米OV”的增长主要是靠挤压“others”厂商得来,如今这部分厂商已经围剿殆尽,头部厂商们要想继续增长,就要互相从对方手里抢用户,这是真正的刺刀见红的阶段。

小米出海初见成效,在印度市场稳住了第一的位置,也高调进入了欧洲市场。但现实是,
中国已经是全球最大、最活跃、最前线的手机市场,任何一家厂商要想稳住当下的位置,进而谋求继续增长,国内市场的竞争都不能回避。


如今小米的境遇,和 2016 年颇为相似。2015 年到 2016 年,随着线上红利被挖掘殆尽,小米的增长陷入停滞,随之而来的是线下全面开花的 OV 的崛起。






2016 年的年会上,雷军提出这一年的战略就是“开心就好”,这句话背后的现状是,整个 2015 年,小米遇到了不小的困难,出货量未及预期。2016 年过去后,小米依然没能摆脱下跌的泥潭。

后来的事我们也知道了,凭借小米 6 以及红米系列的表现,小米在 2017 年迎来了创业以来最重要的“逆转”时刻,雷军也曾多次自豪地强调
,“世界上没手机公司销量下跌后还能逆转,除了小米。小米成功是奇迹,逆转更是奇迹。”


2018 年年会上,雷军提出一个目标,要让小米 10 个季度重回国内市场第一。如今十个季度几近过半,要想实现这个目标,小米需要第二次“奇迹”。
