El mercado de materias primas se divide en materias primas duras (como metales y energía) y materias primas blandas (como productos agrícolas y ganaderos). Estas materias primas se comercializan globalmente, a menudo a través de contratos de futuros, y constituyen la columna vertebral de las industrias, desde la manufactura hasta la producción de alimentos.

Categorías principales en el mercado de materias primas

1 Petróleo crudo
El producto energético más comercializado; impulsa la producción mundial de combustibles e industrial.
2 Gas natural

3 Carbón
Producto energético tradicional, aún vital en muchos países a pesar del crecimiento de las energías renovables.

13 Ganado bovino:
Producto ganadero; se comercializa para la producción de carne de res.

14 Cerdo (magro)
Producto ganadero; refleja la demanda mundial de productos porcinos.

15 Uranio:
Producto energético utilizado en la generación de energía nuclear.

Los productos duros (metales, energía) son fundamentales para el crecimiento industrial y la infraestructura.

Los productos blandos (agricultura, ganadería) impactan directamente en el suministro de alimentos y bienes de consumo.
