Myanmar coup: Protesters in Yangon and Bangkok denounce military seizing power

The striking of pans and honking of horns was heard for a second day around the city of Yangon in Myanmar, also known as Burma, on Wednesday, as a sign of public action to reject a military coup that ousted civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi's government.

Car horns were sounded after dark as drivers rallied behind calls for civil disobedience campaigns. Medics also threatened to stop work, even as the coronavirus epidemic rages.
