차트 공부도 많이 하고, 영상도 수없이 보고, 소위 전문가의 트레이딩 강좌도 듣고, 간단해 보이는 전략들을 따라 해봤지만, 막상 트레이딩 계좌에 발을 들여놓는 순간 모든 게 잘못되는 이유를 누가 좀 설명해 줄 수 있을까요? 제 분석력 때문인지, 감정 조절 때문인지, 너무 일찍 진입하거나 너무 늦게 진입하는 경향 때문인지, 좋은 움직임을 놓칠까 봐 늘 두려워하는 마음 때문인지, 몇 초마다 트레이딩을 확인하는 강박관념 때문인지, 손실을 침착하게 받아들이지 못하는 마음 때문인지, 아니면 가격 움직임, 변동성, 유동성, 스프레드, 페이크아웃, 휩소, 갑작스러운 반전 패턴이 어떻게 작용하는지 아직 파악하지 못하고 있는 저 같은 사람에게는 시장이 너무 예측 불가능해서 그런 걸까요? 인내심을 가지려고 할 때마다 시장이 갑자기 제 마음대로 움직이는 것 같고, 결국 그 움직임을 따라가려고 하면 최악의 지점에서 진입하게 되어 패닉에 빠져 일찍 청산하게 되는 것 같습니다. 작은 손실만 보고 나중에 가격이 원래 방향으로 움직이는 것을 지켜보면서 정신적으로 낙담하고, 무엇을 다르게 했어야 했는지 혼란스러워하고, 전략을 바꿔야 할지 아니면 기존 방식을 고수해야 할지 확신이 서지 않고, 온라인 커뮤니티에서 상반된 조언을 듣고 압도당하고, 돌이켜보면 간단해 보이는 거래가 그 순간에는 엄청나게 어려워 보이는 것에 짜증이 나고, 지표와 설정을 바꾸는 데 지치고, 차트 내역을 열 때마다 손실 거래가 진정한 분석이 아닌 충동적인 결정의 결과라는 것을 알게 되어 당황스럽고, 솔직히 말해서 규율을 세우고, 위험을 관리하고, 감정적으로 중립을 유지하고, 일관된 프로세스를 개발하는 방법을 근본적으로 오해하고 있는 것은 아닌지 궁금해지기 시작했습니다. 다른 거래자들이 압박 속에서 어떻게 침착함을 유지하는지 알아내려고 노력하는 동안, 저는 단 하나의 캔들이 잘못된 방향으로 5핍 움직이는 것만으로도 불안해집니다. 그렇다면 반복되는 손실의 악순환에서 벗어나 두려움과 혼란에 끊임없이 반응하는 사람이 아니라 자신이 무엇을 하는지 아는 사람처럼 거래를 시작하려면 어떻게 해야 할까요?
