Summary of stock market conditions in Asia on September 23, 2021

The S&P/ASX 200 Australian stock market closed a third straight day of gains on Wednesday, helped by gains in technology and energy stocks. The trading atmosphere in the Australian stock market too.

The S&P/ASX 200 index closed at 7,370.20, up 73.30, or +1.00%, and the All Ordinaries closed at 7,681.30, up 87.50, or +1.15%.

-- Shanghai Composite Index China stocks closed higher today. This was driven by strong buying in semiconductor and consumer products. including that the executives of China The Evergrand Group released a statement that boosted investor confidence this morning.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,642.22, up 13.73, or +0.38%.

-- Hang Seng Index, the Hong Kong stock market closed higher today. In line with the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the New York Stock Exchange closed up more than 300 points overnight (Sept. 22) after the Federal Reserve (Fed) did not provide a clear timeline to cut its bond-buying program following easing measures. quantitatively (QE), only signaling a QE cut soon, unlike investors expecting the Fed to signal a QE cut in November.

The Hang Seng Index closed today at 24,510.98, up 289.44, or +1.19%.

-- South Korean stock market composite index closed negative today. After reopening for the first day after the Thanksgiving holiday. by pressure from the report that states The US Federal Reserve (Fed) has signaled that it will soon begin cutting its quantitative easing (QE) bond-buying program soon. Evergrand Group, which is due to pay interest in two installments today.

The South Korean Stock Exchange Composite Index (KOSPI) closed today at 3,127.58, down 12.39, or -0.41%. Trading volume was moderate at 612 million shares valued at 13.8 trillion won ($11.7 billion) and a number of shares. More than 715 to 178 positive stocks.

-- Japanese stock markets are closed today (Sept. 23) for the start of autumn.
